The objective of this program is to assist financial advisors and others in an advisory capacity to identify potential mental capacity issues that might place a client at financial or personal risk and/or personal abuse and undue influence. After identification of potential incapacity issues a brief outline of the legal, regulatory and medical resources is available for the advisor to help protect his or her client. This program is approved for one-hour of CLE (including .25 ethics). One-hour of ethics credit for insurance and accounting is available pending approvals.
